Santa Comes to Town

Santa comes to townAbout the Event: The holiday season begins with a chill in the air and a twinkle in every eye. When December arrives, light displays appear, peppermint candy canes are unwrapped, and families look forward to celebrating the season's spirit with friends and neighbors. Friendsville is "a place where friends gather," where community, tradition, generosity, and so much joy, from Friendsville Elementary carolers singing your favorite Christmas songs to the life story of Jesus' birth to delight every one of all ages.

While your little one's imagination takes them to a place of happiness, you can enjoy shopping, hot chocolate, fire, and music. Bring the kids out for a fun-filled day of activities, which begins with free face painting, games, a crafting area, and bounce houses. The street will be blocked off during the event as we create a safe area for the kids to play.

Midday, the parade will have you cheering! There is nothing like seeing Floats, Cars, Fire Trucks, Santa, and much more. Fun for the family. Enjoy the excitement of Christmas and celebrate Santa comes to Town parade on Saturday, December 7, 2024! Then, in the evening, you will fill your eyes with dazzling lights, your imagination with wonder, your stomach with delicious holiday food, and your spirit with the season's joy as the city kicks off the annual tree-lighting celebration!
